The PVT-6000 is compatible with most current sensor technologies - ultrasonic, radar, floatation, optical and pressure sensors can be used for specific applications. Any combination of mud pits can be assigned as being “active” by operating the pits selector switches. The PVT-6000 will calculate the total volume of mud in the active pits and display it on an easy to read analogue gauge. A second analogue gauge continuously displays the gain or loss of mud from the active total making the drill crew aware of the prevailing well conditions.
Configuring and using the display unit is simple and straightforward with minimal operator training being required.
The standard PVT-6000 utilises highly reliable and accurate solid state radar level sensors. Like most others, the RCP PVT-6000 has been designed using a standard hardware platform so that it can be seamlessly integrated with other systems in the RCP product family.
